Some of the pictures Kim took. The girls were way less than cooperative.... I cannot believe she actually got pictures of them smiling!

The Basement is DONE!
In July we started a minor project in the basement and 15 minutes in we found mold :( The room was never anything amazing but we did not plan on tearing everything out. I don't have too many before pictures but from the few that I have you can see how bad it was before. We completed most of the project in about a month and then took a couple months off. This week we FINALLY finished the paint and carpet on the stairs. The girls' playroom is still nothing amazing but we are glad to have a nice clean (and cute) room for the girls to play in!

Shutterfly Cards
Over the last four years or so I have used Shutterfly for many things. I have made the girls' books containing pictures etc from their first year. I have also made books for other people. I LOVE these books and I need to find a new reason to make another one because I think making them is therapeutic for me :)
My latest Shutterfly find is their cards. I am not a huge fan of the photo cards that you can get from any photo place. Don't get me wrong they are ok for some things and I have definitely used them I just don't love them. I do however LOVE the cards Shutterfly has on the Premium Cardstock. (By the way, Shutterfly does have the photo paper cards if that is what you prefer) I personally think the Cardstock cards are nicer looking and they are so easy to make. So far I have used these cards for Thank You's, Mother's Day and Father's Day. I love that I can personalize each card for each person on my list!
My next Shutterfly project is Christmas Cards! I can't wait to design a card with some current pictures of the girls to share with everyone. Shutterfly has TONS of new card designs this year. Check out their Christmas Cards, Holiday Cards, or for those who don't get them done by Christmas the New Years Cards.
