zip line video (better quality)

The Scarecrow Patch

this is Elody's really FAKE smile :)

the girls LOVED the zip line

Here is a video of the girls on the zip-line, they went on it many many times. For some odd reason Camryn really liked smacking her face into the wall rather than putting her feet out. Also, each time she went Brian would help Elody get down and then she would get mad because she wanted to drop, finally he let her drop.... this was the only time.
p.s. she was totally fine, the whining lasted about as long as you saw in the video. Of course she ran right back for another turn!

Today the girls were invited to their friend Addison's pumpkin party. They got to pick a pumpkin from Addison's grandpa's pumpkin patch, bowled for squash with a pumpkin, ate yummy pumpkin snacks, and did what kids do best... got dirty! They had a great time even though the wind was a little chilly.

Elody led the way to the good ones :)

She was very proud of the pumpkin she found.

I asked her to lean down by it and this is what I got.

It was just about too big :)

 Camryn wanted a BIG one...

this was as big as mom was willing to carry!

They had lots of fun in the cornfield too. Camryn later told me she was pretending to be a panda and was finding bamboo.

I think maybe Elody was enlisted to help Camryn...

kindergarten update

Last week we got to visit Camryn's kindergarten classroom. She was very proud and showed us everything in her room. We met Guinea the guinea pig, saw where she sits, visited the library, found where she hangs her backpack and then got sucked in by the book fair in the gym.

We are very blessed that Camryn loves school and is very excited to go every day. In fact she is sad when it is a weekend and she can't go to school. According to her teacher she is doing well other than being a little talkative, no idea where she gets that from :/ I can't wait to see her continue to learn new things.

Camryn's first kindergarten milestone was learning how to tie her shoes. She has a new pair of shoes with laces that I wouldn't let her wear to school because she couldn't tie them. After school the first day we sat down and practiced it a couple times and she mastered it immediately.

My baby's not a baby anymore!

we forgot to get a picture of Camryn's backpack on her first day so she joined in today

she was VERY excited to go!

what a BIG girl!
